William and Rebecca (Wilson) Elliott were both born C.1796
in Co. Fermanagh Northern Ireland.
Between 1835 and 1853 they and their family immigrated to America. Their known family were;
1) Alexander born 1819.
2) Elizabeth born 1823.
3) Jane born 1826.
4) Rebecca born 1830.
5) William born 1832.
There may have also been a;
6) Thomas born C.1821 or C.1828.
Both Jane and William married in Co. Fermanagh and immigrated to Australia. No information has been found about the remaining children, Alexander, Elizabeth, Rebecca and the possible Thomas. A family story has the parents William and Rebecca (Wilson) Elliott dying shortly after their arrival in America.
